HUF 3 billion turnover, 50% growth in the events market – that was last year for HotelPremio Group
The year 2024 brought significant growth for the HotelPremio Group, with the turnover of HotelPremio Kft., a member of the group, reaching EUR 2.7 billion, and the turnover of Boutique Hotel Annuska reaching EUR 3 billion, a milestone in the life of the company.
The HotelPremio Group has been in the tourism industry for 15 years and in the corporate events market for 10 years. The growth in turnover of nearly one billion euros was driven by three relatively young business segments, business training and education, corporate accommodation reservations and the tourism PR business, which was launched in 2023. Clients from the corporate events sector have already entered the group’s training and training management business, with this business alone handling more than 400 events in 2024.
“It was a milestone in every respect,” emphasises György Tatár, the founder and managing director of the company. We have rebranded our brands, created a joint corporate umbrella brand called HotelPremio Group, launched our PR business, added a new senior finance manager and a Mini Hotel! And in the events market we have really grown, so we don’t need to brag about the numbers:) “The training and training delivery business has grown a lot, with the strength of being able to centralise the often territorially fragmented delivery of training and education through a dedicated online platform, with bespoke accounting and billing solutions. The turnover of corporate accommodation bookings has also increased significantly compared to the previous year.”
The PR Business Unit had a record year, with the largest clients of the tourism and destination PR and communication segment including GoTürkiye, the Turkish Tourist Board, Slovenia’s largest chain of beach hotels, Lifeclass Hotels&Spa, the Slovenian Congress Bureau (SCB), the Timisoara Tourism Organisation, Visit Timisoara and Oman’s largest DMC, Bahwan Tourism.
“Last year, our greatest professional success was that we now provide PR and marketing services not only in Hungary to our foreign partners, but also in other countries of the region,” said Róbert Révész, head of the PR business unit and co-owner of the group. Our vision is to become a leading player in the tourism PR arena not only in Hungary but also in the region.”
Boutique Hotel Annuska also performed well, with stable growth compared to the previous year. The Group’s hotel management business expanded last year with the addition of the Délceg Réce Minihotel. Another success of last year was that the company’s founder, György Tatár, was named one of the Top 50 most influential people in tourism for the second time. The group not only focused on its own activities, but also on the corporate event segment and this year for the first time published its Corporate Event Focus Report, which analyses the past year, the research is available for free download here.
In the framework of the Group’s social responsibility programme, it co-founded the Kultúrvágány Contemporary Artists’ Camp and supported the Bátor Tábor Foundation.
