Professional presentations and inspiring travel experiences

Representing Niederösterreich-Werbung, Managing Director Michael Duscher, together with tourism professionals Veronika Nutz and Bernd Scharfegger, delivered presentations introducing the region’s tourism offering, the opportunities of the 2026/27 winter season and the wide range of experiences available throughout Lower Austria.

One of the key messages of the presentations was that Lower Austria offers much more than traditional skiing holidays. Winter hiking, snowshoeing, Christmas markets in historic settings, regional gastronomy and wellness experiences all contribute to the region’s diverse tourism appeal.

Particular attention was given to the winter attractions of the Semmering and Wiener Alpen regions, the spectacular panoramic landscapes of the Rax plateau, as well as the Niederösterreich Bergerlebnispass, which connects several ski areas across the province.
