HotelPremio Group showcases four international partners and Julius Meinl coffee at the 2026 MICE Business Day
International destinations, distinctive event venues and premium guest experiences were at the heart of MICE Business Day, held on 20 October at the Corinthia Hotel Budapest. For the third consecutive year, HotelPremio Group represented its international partners at one of Hungary’s key business tourism industry events, presenting the offerings of four international partners to Hungarian industry professionals.
This year, MICE Business Day, which brings together stakeholders from the domestic and international business tourism sectors, welcomed industry representatives to a new venue: the elegant Corinthia Hotel Budapest. Organised by Turizmus Kft. for the twelfth time, the event provides opportunities to establish new business partnerships through B2B meetings, professional programmes and networking. More than 800 industry professionals and approximately 150 exhibitors attended, reflecting the strong professional interest in the domestic and international MICE market.
Having attended the event for several years, HotelPremio Group is now in its third consecutive year of participating with the aim of directly connecting its international partners with stakeholders in Hungary’s tourism and event-organising sectors. Participation offers more than an opportunity to showcase partners; it is also an important means of building long-term relationships and developing international cooperation. Face-to-face meetings allow Hungarian professionals to learn first-hand about the offerings of different destinations, hotels and tourist attractions, and to explore the business opportunities they present.
At this year’s event, HotelPremio Group provided a platform for four international partners and, in partnership with Julius Meinl, brought an authentic barista atmosphere to its stand. The exhibitors included the Convention Bureau of Styria, Timișoara’s newly established Convention Bureau, the Marriott hotel in Ičići, being developed as a Hungarian investment and scheduled to open in 2027, and tourism and accommodation providers associated with Postojna Cave in Slovenia.
The partners’ diverse offerings can cater to a wide range of needs, from organising conferences and corporate events and selecting distinctive venues to designing unique tourism experiences. Their presentations also gave Hungarian event organisers and tourism professionals the opportunity to discover new destinations, services and potential partners for future cooperation.
The high-quality coffee experience offered in cooperation with Julius Meinl’s Hungarian representative further enhanced footfall at the stand and the visitor experience. Visitors were able to sample premium coffee prepared by a barista, providing a welcome break during the busy professional programme and attracting considerable interest. Long queues formed beside the stand throughout the day, and the initiative received a great deal of positive feedback. The collaboration demonstrated how, alongside professional content, high-quality guest experiences can also play an important role in a successful exhibition presence.
HotelPremio Group aims not only to raise the profile of its international partners in the Hungarian market, but also to facilitate the development of tangible business relationships. MICE Business Day provides an ideal platform for this, bringing together representatives of domestic and international tourism, the hotel industry, event organisation and destination marketing.
The concept, now in its third year, reflects the company’s commitment to nurturing international partnerships and developing the Hungarian market. The experience gained at the event, in-person discussions and new professional connections may serve as the foundation for further cooperation in the future.
HotelPremio Group would also like to congratulate the team at Turizmus Kft. on organising such a high-quality international industry event. Building on the positive experience and strong professional interest, the company plans to participate again next year, continuing to represent its international partners in Hungary and strengthen international tourism cooperation.
