Bridging Cultures in the High Tatras: HotelPremio Group’s Influencer Journey
In mid-July 2024, the High Tatras became the scene of a unique influencer journey organized by HotelPremio Group. Hungarian and Romanian influencers were invited to discover the region’s natural beauty, wellness culture, and hospitality. Over three days, the group immersed themselves in a carefully curated program that blended nature, relaxation, and adventure – while also strengthening Slovak-Hungarian and Slovak-Romanian relations.
The trip began in Poprad, where participants enjoyed lunch at AquaCity before strolling through the charming streets of Spišská Sobota. The afternoon was reserved for relaxation at the aquapark, setting the tone for a refreshing stay. The evening brought the group to Horizont Resort in Stará Lesná, where fine dining and a welcoming atmosphere awaited.
On the second day, the influencers experienced the very heart of the Tatras. They set off from Starý Smokovec, ascending by cable car to Hrebienok and continuing their hike to Skalnaté Pleso. Waterfalls, alpine huts, and crisp mountain air created a picture-perfect scene, before a scenic lunch overlooking the lake. Later, the group reached Lomnické Sedlo by cable car, taking in breathtaking panoramas, followed by an adrenaline-filled ride on mountain carts. The day ended with luxury relaxation in the hotel’s Sky Lounge and wellness area – a well-deserved rest after an active adventure.
The final day was dedicated to Štrbské Pleso, where the timeless elegance of the Grand Hotel Kempinski impressed all participants. After a hearty breakfast, some opted for a hike to the Skok waterfall, while others chose the cable car to Solisko. Lunch at Hotel FIS was followed by a tranquil boating experience on the shimmering lake, before the group returned home, filled with memories.
Reflecting on the journey, Róbert Révész, Head of Premio PR at HotelPremio Group, emphasized:
“Our aim was not only to show the most beautiful faces of Slovakia but also to create bridges between cultures. With Hungarian and Romanian influencers sharing their authentic experiences, we managed to strengthen our cross-border relationships and bring the High Tatras closer to new audiences.”
This journey proved that tourism is more than travel – it is a way of building lasting connections, both personal and cultural.
