This is the first time we are publishing a report on the Hungarian corporate events market. The analysis is based on more than 1500 B2B event requests received on our venue search platforms. The report takes a look at the most important questions for corporate events: who are the typical clients, which sector they come from, what is the average price, where are they located in the country, or what kind of technical equipment is most often requested.

  • 75% of the customers are companies in Budapest or Pest county.
  • The typical client is an SME from Budapest, planning a half-day or one-day workshop at Budapest from 1 million HUF budget.
  • Two hotels at Lake Balaton are in the TOP10 most popular event venues.
  • The most popular catering service is dinner.
  • The budget per person starts from 30 – 50 000 HUF.
  • The most common events range from 21 to 40 people.
  • More than 60% of events are planned more than a month in advance.

Why did we do this report?

With HotelPremio Group, we have been working in this market for 15 years, we work with over 700 venues, hundreds of people browse our event venue finding platforms every day, and we receive 1500-2000 corporate event requests every year. This year, for the first time, we are preparing this report because we believe that by sharing this knowledge, we can help our work together and grow. The research is not representative, but it is indicative: January is not a dead month, the Christmas season starts in June and everyone will always need a microphone! 🙂
