György Tatár, head of the HotelPremio Group, received the Forbes Business Club’s “Long-Term Success” award. The award recognizes company leaders who have achieved long-term stability and continuous renewal in their businesses and are capable of continuous renewal even in a changing market environment, delivering outstanding performance in their industry with their business solutions.

The HotelPremio Group has been a key player in tourism for more than 10 years and is a market leader in B2B event organization and online venue search platforms.

The Forbes Award recognizes the most outstanding 2025 development stories of Business Club members in four different categories. This year’s Award Gala took place on January 23, 2026, at the Museum of Fine Arts. Each year, the award recognizes company leaders who have achieved long-term stability while growing their companies and who are capable of continuous renewal in a changing market environment, delivering outstanding performance in their industries with forward-thinking ideas and business solutions.

A four-member professional jury awarded the prizes

Based on the decision of the jury consisting of Dr. Eszter Varga, Márton Galambos, István Kapitány, and Dr. László Újszászi-Bogár, György Tatár, founder of the HotelPremio Group, won one of Forbes’ awards this year, the “Long-Term Success” award. It is a particular pleasure that they shared the award with Gábor Nagy, head of the Eventrend Group.

“Over the past decades, we have had to completely redesign our company’s operations several times, and these radical changes have always brought the expected results. From an accommodation booking site, we have become the largest B2B business event organizer in recent years, with our company closing 2024 with revenues of over 3 billion forints, despite having zero revenue during COVID,” emphasized the head of HotelPremio Group.

The business results of the long-term strategy are well illustrated by the fact that in 2025, with more than 700 event venues and 2,500 business partners, they have clients for whom they conduct more than 300 training sessions per year.

As an important player in domestic tourism, the HotelPremio Group is not only known for corporate event organization, but is also a market leader in online venue search platforms and has been operating hotels for eight years. The owner and managing director of HotelPremio Group, György Tatár, has been a key player in tourism for nearly 20 years and has been named one of the top 50 professionals in tourism on several occasions.

“In addition to the company’s successes, I think it’s important that the Forbes award has brought the tourism and event industry into focus a little, as that’s where Gábor and I both come from. Market education and support for the profession, as well as exploiting synergies between industries, are very important to me, which is why we are preparing the Corporate Event Report, our overview of the domestic corporate events market, for the second time this year, in order to help joint work and development by sharing our market knowledge,” added György Tatár in connection with the award.
