The Meet Poland – Polish Incoming Workshop Offers a Unique Insight into Poland’s Tourism Potential and Networking Opportunities
In early October, the Meet Poland – Polish Incoming Workshop presented a fantastic opportunity to explore Poland’s tourism offerings and foster international business connections.
Representing Budapest, Trendway Travel, Smart Travel, and Or-Vi Travel Center joined the trip, organized by PremioPR.
Delegates from a diverse group of countries, including Latvia, Lithuania, Italy, Germany, Singapore, India, Australia, Hungary, Slovenia, Romania, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, and Austria, enjoyed a rich itinerary featuring iconic Polish sites, such as the world-renowned Wieliczka Salt Mine and the picturesque town of Zakopane at the foot of the Tatra Mountains.
Our day on October 4th began early with a visit to the legendary Wieliczka Salt Mine, a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1978 and one of the world’s most significant cultural monuments. The mine captivated us with its awe-inspiring scale, complete with underground chapels and intricate salt sculptures.
Following our tour, we enjoyed a delicious lunch before setting off for Zakopane, a charming town nestled at the base of the Tatra Mountains. Here, we met with the town’s mayor, who shared insights into Zakopane’s history and cultural significance. An afternoon city tour allowed us to admire the traditional Gorale architecture and breathtaking mountain scenery. We wrapped up the day with a delightful group dinner in the evening.
