We closed the annual workshop of the Polish Tourist Organisation with a boat trip on the Danube
This year, the Városliget Cafe hosted the Polish Tourism Organization‘s annual workshop on September 12, with organizational support from the HotelPremio Group team. The full day of professional programming was capped off with a relaxed boat cruise on the Danube.
The workshop, titled “Poland. More than you expected,” was organized primarily by the Polish Tourism Organization, whose main goal was to promote Polish destinations and foster active professional connections among representatives of the tourism industry.
The event at Városliget Cafe welcomed members of the press alongside numerous travel agency representatives, offering them a deeper insight into Poland’s top tourism and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) destinations.
The full-day professional program featured the following presentations:
- Melinda Farkas, Head of the Polish Tourism Organization, offered a comprehensive overview of the “Poland. More than you expected” campaign.
- Representatives from the Warsaw Tourism Organization and Crowne Plaza Hotel delivered a presentation titled “Modern Warsaw,” which introduced us to a new side of the city, positioning it as an ideal MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) destination alongside its appeal for leisure travelers.
- LOT Polish Airlines presented their latest routes, enhancing accessibility to Poland’s most popular cities.
- Through the Łódź Tourism Organization’s presentation, “Surprising Łódź,” we were given an in-depth view of Poland’s fourth-largest city, centrally located between the Vistula and Oder river basins. Revitalized and full of contrasts, Łódź is a green, avant-garde destination with unexpected installations—a must-see.
- Among the destinations showcased, Lublin, a candidate for European Capital of Culture 2029, stood out, as well as Zamość and Kraków, whose representatives shared fascinating highlights and practical travel tips for travel organizers and journalists alike.
Following the presentations, participants engaged in informal discussions and networked with key figures in Polish tourism.
The professional program concluded with an evening cruise along the Danube, where participants enjoyed relaxed conversations against the backdrop of Budapest’s illuminated skyline.
