Polish Experience Forum on the Danube – Unique presentation of Polish regions and hotels in Budapest
The River Diva boat hosted a special event: Poland Travel and the HotelPremio Group jointly organized the first Polish Experience Forum, which aimed to present Poland’s tourism offerings to the Hungarian professional audience.
At the event, 22 Polish exhibitors – including 13 hotels and 3 regions (Pomerania, Lesser Poland, Lublin) – presented their services, attractions and local products. One of the unique features of the forum was that participants were able to learn about Poland not only through presentations, but also through smells, tastes, textures, and sights. In addition, Polish hotels that were previously little known to the Hungarian public were also presented, creating new connections and opportunities for future cooperation.
The nearly 75 Hungarian guests, including travel agencies, event organizers, influencers, and journalists, were enriched with authentic Polish experiences: from the medicinal waters and oscypek cheese of Szczawnica to the ciders of Lublin and wines of the Tarnów region, to the amber of Gdańsk and the salt crystals of Wieliczka.
The professional part of the program featured a panel discussion on the development of the Polish economy, the future of Polish-Hungarian tourism relations, and what the regions have to offer. The participants in the discussion included Jarosław Bajaczyk (Polish Institute), Anna Wiśniewski (Polish-Hungarian Chamber of Commerce) and Antoni Krisztián (LOT Polish Airlines).
The evening ended with an interactive quiz and a special dinner served on a food counter rising from the floor, which participants enjoyed while admiring the panorama of Budapest in a summer evening atmosphere on the upper deck of the ship.

The following hotels and service providers, among others, participated in the event:
PURO Hotels, Hotel Kudowa Manufaktura Relaksu, Nobu Warsaw, BUKOVINA Resort, Mercure Szczyrk Resort, Destigo Hotels, Grupa Hotelowa PI Apartamenty&Hotele, Courtyard by Marriott Gdynia Waterfront, Element Wrocław, Szczawnica Park Resort & Spa, Hotel Bristol – a Luxury Collection Hotel, Warsaw, Grano Hotels, Royal Tulip Warsaw Centre.
Nobu Warsaw, Hotel Kudowa, Element Wrocław and Courtyard by Marriott Gdynia Waterfront, part of the Marriott chain, were presented as special sponsors.
The first Polish Experience Forum was a worthy start to a collaboration that could further strengthen Hungarian-Polish tourism relations, and based on the positive feedback, the event will return in the fall of 2026 with even more Polish service providers.
