The Charm of Friuli Venezia Giulia in Poland – A Successful Event Series in Krakow and Warsaw
The HotelPremio PR team proudly reports on the first press events organized in Poland in collaboration with the Friuli Venezia Giulia Regional Tourism Board. Krakow and Warsaw served as hosts for this unique introduction, where over a dozen Polish journalists and media representatives attended in both cities to explore one of Italy’s most fascinating regions: Friuli Venezia Giulia.
The goal of the events was to showcase the rich diversity of Friuli Venezia Giulia to the Polish press, highlighting its unparalleled blend of natural wonders, cultural treasures, and culinary specialties. The region’s landmarks include the sandy beaches and lagoons of the Adriatic Sea, the stunning peaks of the Dolomites and the Alps, and historic cities such as Trieste, Udine, Gorizia, and Pordenone. UNESCO World Heritage Sites like Aquileia, Cividale del Friuli, and Palmanova also took center stage in the presentation. Friuli Venezia Giulia is an ideal destination for nature lovers, offering varied landscapes, vineyard trails, cycling routes, and water sports opportunities.
The series of events had a special focus on Nova Gorica-Gorizia, which will hold the title of European Capital of Culture in 2025. Participants were introduced to the area’s history, cultural significance, and the unique experiences this prestigious title will bring to visitors.
The evenings concluded with exceptional culinary experiences. Guests enjoyed a tiramisu showcooking demonstration followed by a tasting of iconic dishes and award-winning wines from Friuli Venezia Giulia. Highlights included San Daniele ham, Montasio cheese, Frico, Trieste boiled ham, Gubana, and of course, tiramisu.
The HotelPremio PR team is honored to have been part of these two memorable events. Special thanks go to Sandra Battigaglia, representing the Friuli Venezia Giulia tourism team, and to our Polish colleague Katarzyna Mańczyk, without whom this success would not have been possible.
We are already looking forward to our next joint project!
